Saks Fifth Avenue, the century-old luxury retailer, needed to bring its iconic print magalog into the digital age without losing its high-end editorial quality. The challenge was to convert large, design-heavy print pages into interactive, shoppable digital experiences, enable merchandisers to publish frequently and efficiently, and overcome the constraints of traditional CMS tools and resource-heavy workflows.

Saks partnered with Amplience to build a Content Authoring Solution on a unified Big Content Cloud, using a simple workflow that takes one PDF and one product data file per issue and applies a reusable rendering kit. The result was a fully responsive, 240‑page interactive magalog built in three weeks that lets customers shop directly from pages, supports in‑store iPad use, and scales to an expected ~30 digital magalogs per year—boosting merchandising reach, content reuse, and measurable ROI.
