ESR, a major real estate manager, faced a sustainability challenge at a Singapore warehouse development. Without direct grid access, the site relied on large diesel generators to power its cranes, leading to high emissions, maintenance issues, and noise pollution. To address this, ESR partnered with vendor Ampd Energy for a cleaner power solution.

Ampd Energy implemented its Enertainer battery energy storage system, which was recharged by smaller diesel generators. This hybrid solution replaced the need for three large generators. Over nine months, Ampd Energy's system significantly reduced the carbon footprint by 220 tonnes and cut operating costs by 19%, while providing stable, low-maintenance power and remote monitoring capabilities.
