The Town of Montreal West’s Recreation and Cultural Services runs summer camps, sports leagues, pool access and other community programs with a fluctuating staff of 3–19. Before switching systems, the team relied on multiple platforms and paper forms, forcing staff to re-enter the same data across up to four systems, causing errors, lost information and many wasted administrative hours.
The town implemented Amilia, a flexible, user-friendly online registration platform (including a mobile app) that centralized client data and streamlined enrollment and payments. Staff shifted from data entry to program development and customer service; results include over 23,000 checkouts, a 27% increase in registrations, roughly $40,000 in additional revenue and a 50% rise in credit card payments, plus much faster in-person registration.
