St. John’s College Santa Fe and Ameresco Announce Comprehensive Solar and Energy Efficiency Project

St. John’s College Santa Fe partnered with Ameresco to address aging campus infrastructure while advancing its sustainability goals. The college wanted to reduce energy use, modernize facilities, and lower operating costs through a comprehensive solar and energy efficiency initiative.

Ameresco implemented a multi-phase solution that included 1,670 solar panels, 20 EV charging stations, LED lighting retrofits, rooftop HVAC and roofing upgrades, boiler and air handling unit replacements, and water infrastructure improvements. The project is expected to cut carbon emissions by 858 metric tons and deliver more than $100,000 in annual savings for St. John’s College Santa Fe.
