Corporate Office Installs Solar to Offset 60% of Campus’ Total Annual Electricity Demand

Bank of America’s corporate campus in Chandler, AZ aimed to cut on-site electricity use and advance its carbon‑reduction goals (having reached carbon neutrality in 2019 and targeting Net Zero by 2050) while improving employee amenities like covered parking and EV charging. Bank of America partnered with Ameresco to deliver a comprehensive solar PV program including rooftop and carport solar, EV charging, and solar‑powered ATMs and benches.

Ameresco installed nearly 10,000 solar modules across rooftops and covered carports, added six EV charging stations and solar‑powered amenities, and now offsets roughly 60% of the campus’s annual electricity demand. The project reduces about 5,000 metric tons of CO2 annually, provides covered parking and on‑site charging for employees, and supports Bank of America’s broader renewable energy and carbon‑reduction objectives.
