Ameresco to install solar generation assets at nearly 100 wells fargo properties in seven states

Wells Fargo aimed to expand onsite renewable generation beyond purchased RECs to meet its 100% renewable electricity goals and support local economic and climate benefits across its portfolio. To deploy distributed solar at corporate and retail locations in seven states, Wells Fargo engaged Ameresco to develop and install approximately 30 MW of onsite solar generation assets (rooftop, carport and ground‑mount PV systems).

Ameresco designed and is building nearly 100 solar PV arrays across Arizona, California, Connecticut, Iowa, New Jersey, North Carolina and Texas, delivering about 30 MW of capacity and roughly 45,000 MWh of clean energy annually. The Ameresco-led program includes large campus systems, smaller branch installations and community features such as multi‑acre pollinator gardens, while generating local jobs, tax revenue and improved grid resiliency.
