William Tracey Group - Customer Case Study

The William Tracey Group, a leading UK recycling and resource management company with 10 sites across Scotland and the North of England, faced aging systems that limited enterprise-wide visibility, accurate data and modern customer engagement. To gain scale advantages, improve process and data quality, and enhance customer communications, they selected AMCS Group’s AMCS Enterprise Management.

AMCS Group implemented AMCS Enterprise Management across route planning, vehicle tracking, weighbridge operations, call centre and customer portals, plus mobile apps (JobMan, ServiceMan, BanksMan), RFID/GPS bin tagging and on‑board computers. The solution—deployed on 20 trucks so far—delivered real‑time job confirmation and proof of service, reduced operating costs, improved data accuracy enabling profit/loss visibility down to single vehicles and customers, allowed pay‑by‑weight pricing, cut back‑office data entry, and produced fuel/emission savings through optimized routing.
