A AMCS Group Case Study
Voith, a family-owned mechanical engineering group founded in 1867 and operating in more than 60 countries, set out to improve environmental and resource management across its global sites but found environmental data scattered across multiple systems. To centralize reporting and meet international standards like the GRI, Voith engaged AMCS Group, deploying AMCS EHS Management and the AMCS Sustainability Platform to consolidate and standardize data collection.
AMCS Group implemented EHS Management (initially rolled out in 2011) to create a global hazardous chemical register and the AMCS Sustainability Platform to validate entries, track versions, visualize KPIs, and automate many reporting steps. The centralized solution enabled real-time evaluation, simultaneous global access, and GRI-aligned reporting—helping Voith save more than €12 million per year in energy, water and waste since 2011 while accelerating progress toward its sustainability goals.
