Schulstad - Customer Case Study

Schulstad Denmark, a leading bakery producer that makes 120 million bags of fresh bread annually (800 employees, 3 bakeries), distributes to 2,700 retail customers daily across 110 routes with 80 trucks. Faced with night-time deliveries when customers are often absent, narrow delivery windows, and the need to document proof of delivery and comply with environmental-zone rules, Schulstad adopted AMCS Group’s planning and mobile tools — specifically AMCS Route Planner and AMCS Mobile Web.

AMCS Group implemented an integrated end-to-end solution combining AMCS Route Planner with AMCS Mobile Web on inexpensive smartphones, giving drivers route lists, navigation, photos, signatures and real-time status messages. The deployment centralized planning and operational visibility across all routes, delivered reliable proof of delivery and compliance with time and environmental constraints, improved tracking of delivered and returned goods, generated large savings in hardware acquisition and maintenance, and raised customer service levels.
