Case Study: Municipality Groningen achieves centralised, more efficient waste operations with AMCS Group

A AMCS Group Case Study

Preview of the Municipality Groningen Case Study

For over 20 years, Municipality Groningen has been more than satisfied with AMCS software

Municipality Groningen, responsible for roads, sewers, urban care and waste services for the city, operates a large fleet and workforce and needed to centralise many separate service-branch systems into a single, efficient platform. To meet that challenge they turned to AMCS Group, deploying AMCS’s Enterprise Management back-office software along with Mobile Workforce tablets, unmanned weighing, a Diftar link and Qlikview analytics.

AMCS Group implemented a unified AMCS platform and Mobile Workforce tablet rollout across trucks, plus analytics and automated weighing and billing integrations. The result: faster scheduling, real‑time dispatch visibility, immediate street condition reporting, one consolidated invoice per customer and measurable efficiency gains — including two fewer trucks in operation, reduced administrative workload, and expected fuel, mileage and CO2 savings — plus clearer KPIs and improved service.
