Case Study: Aluminium‑Werke Wutöschingen achieves complete energy, waste and hazardous‑chemical transparency with AMCS Group (AMCS EHS Management)

A AMCS Group Case Study

Preview of the Aluminium-Werke Wutöschingen Case Study

An innovative approach to improving sustainability

Aluminium‑Werke Wutöschingen, a family‑run aluminum manufacturer with around 500 employees at its headquarters, needed a way to document and visualize total energy consumption and to improve waste management and the handling of hazardous chemicals to meet ISO 50001 and operational transparency goals. To replace chaotic list‑based tracking, the company selected AMCS EHS Management from AMCS Group to provide a centralized environmental and energy management solution.

AMCS Group implemented AMCS EHS Management to record and evaluate electricity and gas use, create a centralized waste register (~30 waste types) and catalog all working and hazardous chemicals (about 500 entries, GHS/CLP‑labeled). The system delivers dashboards and KPIs that let AWW trace total waste to each site unit, view costs/revenues and recycling rates, automatically feed waste costs into annual reports, speed up purchasing decisions, and spot energy‑saving opportunities — improving compliance, transparency and operational efficiency.
