Mr. Bult’s, Inc. (MBI), an Illinois-based long-haul waste transporter founded in 1980, grew quickly and by the time its fleet reached about 70 trucks it was hampered by manual, paper-based scheduling, dispatch and back-office processes. Constant driver calls, lost or incomplete paper tickets, delayed job assignments and accounting lags of up to 90 days prompted MBI to engage AMCS Group and its AMCS Bulk Hauling solution.

AMCS Group deployed AMCS Bulk Hauling as MBI’s Transportation Management System, delivering advanced route management, dispatch and tablet technology, real-time fleet and ticket visibility, mobile BI and ticket reconciliation tools. As a result, loads per truck per day rose from 2.1 to 4.7, overhead cost per load dropped from $11.67 to $2.92, annual overhead fell from $630,000 to $280,000 (a $280K reduction), and revenue increased by 122%.
