A mobile EHS safety solution for remote workers on the go

Fingrid Oyj, Finland’s transmission grid operator, needed a better way to manage health and safety work across remote construction sites and contractor activity. Paper reports from transmission line sites in the middle of the forest had to be transported, scanned, and emailed, making the process slow and difficult for field teams.

Fingrid Oyj implemented the AMCS App from AMCS Group for every project, with more than 500 users recording and checking site diaries, accident notifications, near miss reports, and site inspections on the go. The company said near miss reports increased dramatically, with around three times more near miss and hazard observation reports in 2016 than in 2015, while also gaining real-time visibility to assess risks and respond faster.
