A AMCS Fleet Maintenance Case Study
Dossier Systems (Arsenault Associates) worked with the Morris County, NJ motor pool, which needed to reduce fuel use and fleet costs by replacing higher‑consuming vehicles with smaller, more efficient models. The county manages a 1,000‑vehicle fleet and required detailed, timely data—especially on 232 employee cars—to determine which vehicles to replace.
By using the Dossier fleet maintenance system, staff could quickly retrieve and sort vehicle information by miles, age, cylinders and department, cutting report turnaround from days to hours. The data enabled targeted replacement planning across departments, with expected fuel savings of 25–30% and reductions in vehicle size and operating costs.
