TechSimple expands LotFits on a subscription basis with AMC Bridge, using 2D and 3D Forge viewers for real-time design updates

TechSimple, a Michigan-based company offering web and business process services, faced a challenge as their existing application lacked the functionality to work with architectural drawings and models. They needed a web-based interactive tool for home builders to fit a dream home on a preferred lot to prevent mistakes and save time and cost. AMC Bridge was engaged to develop this Forge-based solution.

AMC Bridge developed LotFits, a SaaS solution that determines if a building fits a parcel of land by comparing its design against the lot's permissible build envelope. The solution integrated with Autodesk Forge to provide 2D and 3D viewers, an interactive map, and tools for manipulation and measurement. The results exceeded client expectations, enabling TechSimple to offer the application via subscription and expand their customer list.
