SysCam reduces time-to-market with AMC Bridge by delivering a SOLIDWORKS add-in for FeatureCAM

The customer, SysCam GmbH, a German provider of CAD/CAM solutions, wanted to extend the integration of its flagship software, FeatureCAM, with the widely-used SOLIDWORKS CAD platform to reach a broader user base. Although skilled in software development, SysCam required expert help with SOLIDWORKS API to achieve the desired integration quickly and turned to the vendor, AMC Bridge, for assistance.

AMC Bridge developed a SOLIDWORKS add-in called “Inside Chamfering” that simulates the chamfering of sharp inside edges with a ball mill. The add-in features a user interface that matches the native SOLIDWORKS look and feel for easier adoption. This solution enabled SysCam to significantly reduce its time-to-market and successfully penetrate the SOLIDWORKS customer base without compromising on software quality.
