Forming Technologies speeds SOLIDWORKS integration with AMC Bridge

The customer, Forming Technologies Inc. (FTI), is a leading provider of software for sheet metal design and cost management. Their challenge was an inability to effectively reach SOLIDWORKS users because their BLANKWORKS® application was not integrated with the latest versions of the CAD platform. To overcome this, FTI engaged vendor AMC Bridge for its expertise in SOLIDWORKS API to develop a new, integrated generation of the application.

AMC Bridge developed a fully functional SOLIDWORKS add-in for FTI, creating the new BLANKWORKS® application. This solution provided users with a fast and accurate method for developing optimal blank shapes and featured a fully integrated, intuitive interface built with the latest SOLIDWORKS UI paradigms. The project significantly reduced FTI's time-to-market and was completed with such high quality that it led to a continued partnership with AMC Bridge for several follow-up projects.
