Aras accelerates MS Office integration with AMC Bridge in a project completed well within schedule and budget

The customer, Aras Corporation, a leading provider of enterprise open source Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software, needed to eliminate the barrier between MS Office and its PLM solution. Their clients extensively used MS Office documents and wanted to streamline processes by accessing them directly within PLM. To meet this challenge, Aras engaged vendor AMC Bridge to develop the Aras MS Office Connector.

AMC Bridge implemented a solution consisting of an MS Office add-in and a customized version of the Aras Innovator platform. Despite starting with incomplete specifications, AMC Bridge refined the requirements during development and delivered the project through an iterative process with regular deliverables. The vendor excelled at providing experience-based solutions, particularly for the server-side preferences and MS Office add-in. The project was completed well within the scheduled time and budget, with the quality of work exceeding client expectations.
