Midwestern State University trains 20 students with Ambrook

Midwestern State University (MSU) agribusiness professor Tony Dunkerley faced the challenge of teaching financial management with tools not built for agriculture. Self-built spreadsheets consumed valuable class time, and QuickBooks was not intuitive for agricultural enterprises. He needed a practical platform that his students, many of whom work on farms or run their own businesses, could use in the real world.

The solution was implementing Ambrook's accounting platform. Ambrook's education team provided dedicated support, creating custom agricultural datasets and training materials. This allowed Professor Dunkerley to train 20 students on the software, giving them hands-on experience with real business workflows. As a result, students gained transferable financial skills and were granted ongoing access to Ambrook, with one graduate immediately using it to launch his own waste removal business. The successful pilot led to plans for making Ambrook a permanent part of the curriculum.
