Its traditional workflow required loggers to manually transcribe conversations and mark scenes, which could take up to 10 hours for a 2-hour interview and also involved time-consuming coordination of multiple spotters. Skyhigh TV turned to Amberscript for automatic transcription and subtitling support.

With Amberscript’s automatic speech recognition (ASR), Skyhigh TV can upload video material and receive a transcript within minutes, complete with speaker separation and timestamps. The process reduced logging time for a 2-hour interview from up to 10 hours to around 20 minutes, saving hundreds of hours of work overall and freeing producers to focus more on making high-quality TV programs.
