Yieldmo Uses AWS to Deliver Ad Engagement Data in Milliseconds

Yieldmo is a design‑driven ad‑tech company that serves billions of mobile ad impressions to millions of unique visitors each month. To improve campaign effectiveness it needed to capture and sessionize hundreds of billions of millisecond‑level micro‑interactions (taps, scrolls, time in view) across every ad pixel — fast, at massive scale, and without the time and cost of a custom build.

Yieldmo implemented an AWS streaming stack (Amazon Kinesis Data Streams, Kinesis Data Analytics, Data Firehose, S3, and Lambda) to capture, sessionize, compute pixel‑level viewability, and deliver engagement metrics in real time (data delivered every ~200 ms). The result: accurate, actionable viewability and interaction metrics available to more engineers and customers within minutes, a richer advertiser experience, and a platform that costs an estimated 4–10× less than a self‑built solution.
