VIVOTEK Accelerates Launch of VORTEX, Its Cloud Surveillance Platform, by 12 Months with AWS IoT Core

VIVOTEK, a global security surveillance provider based in Taiwan, wanted to launch its new VORTEX cloud video-surveillance-as-a-service platform worldwide but needed a reliable, scalable infrastructure to support seamless delivery. Having already used Amazon Web Services (AWS) for its VIVOCloud offering, VIVOTEK turned again to AWS to help speed development and support its next-generation hybrid VSaaS model.

Amazon Web Services implemented AWS IoT Core, helping VIVOTEK save 12 months of development time while building VORTEX. With AWS, VIVOTEK expanded AI-powered capabilities and added cloud backup features while controlling costs, accelerating the launch of its cloud surveillance platform by a full year.
