Union Medical Healthcare (UMH) is a Hong Kong–based provider of medical aesthetics, health screening, dentistry and other clinical services that has grown rapidly since its 2016 listing, operating clinics across Hong Kong, Macau and China. Facing rising investor scrutiny and expansion needs, UMH struggled with largely manual financial reporting that could take more than a month to finalize and found on-premises infrastructure too costly to support a modern finance platform.

UMH partnered with Xynergy to deploy SAP S/4HANA Finance on AWS—running on Amazon EC2 r4.8xlarge instances with Elastic Load Balancing, Amazon EBS and Amazon VPC—and avoided heavy upfront hardware and maintenance costs. The cloud deployment delivered first quarterly reports 50% faster, real-time web dashboards for executives, no downtime to date, and an estimated 2–3 months saved versus building an on‑premises environment.
