Trust5, a Dublin-based developer of applications and managed IT services for gaming companies and enterprises, operates a mobile billing platform that links telecoms to game publishers so customers can be charged on their phone bills. The migration cut front-end latency from ~5s to <1s, reduced CAPEX by 30% and operating costs via Reserved Instances (~40% savings), and saved ~£120,000/year in staffing. Business grew 50%, the platform now scales for spikes up to 1,000%, throughput rose from ~100 to 500 transactions/sec, and time-to-market fell from weeks to hours.
