Telefónica Tech Drives Digital Transformation with AWS Training Partner Skillsoft Global Knowledge

Telefónica Tech, part of Telefónica, wanted to shift from a traditional telco mindset to a tech powerhouse by building more cloud talent and closing its AWS skills gap. To do that, it launched AWS Cloud Camp “Escuela 42” in Spain with support from AWS training partner Skillsoft Global Knowledge, creating a free boot camp to help students earn AWS certifications and improve access to tech jobs.

With Amazon Web Services and Skillsoft Global Knowledge, Telefónica Tech delivered a blended learning program combining digital training and AWS Classroom Training, enabling participants to build cloud skills quickly. The initiative was a success: students with little or no prior cloud experience earned AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner and AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certifications, and Telefónica Tech invited top graduates to join its team, showing strong talent pipeline and growth impact.
