Techcombank partnered with Amazon Web Services to modernize its digital banking platform as customer demand and transaction volumes grew. The bank needed a scalable, reliable cloud foundation to support its Retail and Corporate Digital Banking systems, improve performance, and accelerate its broader digital transformation. It also used AWS Database Migration Service to move massive amounts of sensitive data safely and without disrupting customer service.

Amazon Web Services helped Techcombank migrate and modernize its banking systems on AWS using services such as Amazon Aurora MySQL, Amazon ElastiCache, Amazon MSK, Amazon EKS, Amazon OpenSearch Service, and AWS DMS. The result was stronger performance, faster feature delivery, and better operational reliability, including up to 35% faster response times, 30% shorter time-to-market, and a 10% reduction in downtime. Techcombank also completed a cloud-based eKYC rollout and migrated 2 petabytes of data with no service interruption, advancing its cloud-first strategy with Amazon Web Services.
