Sunday is a Thailand-based InsurTech that uses machine learning to price policies and deliver highly customized, lower-cost premiums. To grow quickly and expand across Southeast Asia without the capital burden of data centers, Sunday needed a cloud infrastructure that was extremely fast, reliable, and able to scale from serving a single quote to millions while producing quotes in milliseconds.

Sunday chose AWS for its flexibility (supporting H2O.ai) and worked with partner Cloud Kinetics to launch production in two months. Its stack—EC2, Amazon RDS, Lambda, ELB, CloudFront and ECS—runs the premium engine, automates deployments, and scales on demand; the result is 10–20% lower premiums for many customers, 99.999% uptime, sustained ~30% month‑on‑month revenue growth since launch, and the ability to expand regionally without owning IT facilities.
