Signature Holdings - Customer Case Study

Signature Group Holdings, a diversified business and financial services company based in Sherman Oaks, CA, needed to replace an outdated on‑premises ERP with a SOX‑compliant Oracle E‑Business Suite but had a very small IT team and wanted to avoid large upfront hardware costs. The company required an environment that integrated with existing infrastructure, met strict security and audit requirements, and provided fast disaster recovery.

CTR implemented Oracle E‑Business Suite on AWS using an Amazon VPC with two extra‑large EC2 instances, EBS storage, RMAN backups to S3, and a cross‑region DR site (US East/West). The system launched in six weeks, delivered about 99% availability, reduced three‑year total cost of ownership to roughly one‑third of an on‑premises solution, passed quarterly SOX audits, and enabled quick sandboxing and reporting—allowing Signature to focus on its core business while CTR manages the infrastructure.
