Scroll Processes 15 Million Transactions with a Secure, Scalable Layer 2 Blockchain Solution on AWS

Scroll, a blockchain company working to accelerate Ethereum adoption, needed a secure and scalable infrastructure for its Layer 2 solution, zkevm L2. After evaluating cloud options, Scroll chose Amazon Web Services and worked with AWS to balance performance and cost while scaling its blockchain operations.

Amazon Web Services implemented Amazon EC2 instances across multiple Regions, along with AWS Organizations, AWS Security Hub, IAM, and Amazon RDS Performance Insights to improve manageability, security, and database performance. With AWS, Scroll ran 10 million test transactions on more than 2,000 EC2 instances, launched successfully, and now processes 15 million transactions while supporting 200+ projects. The move to AWS also cut operational costs and reduced the need for infrastructure management resources.
