Quantcast’s ML Engine Achieves Faster Queries at Lower Costs Using AWS Graviton2 Processors

Quantcast, a global adtech company based in San Francisco, needed to improve the performance and cost efficiency of its custom key-value database, Kamke, and related workloads. To meet this challenge, the company worked with Amazon Web Services and adopted AWS Graviton2-powered EC2 R6gd instances.

Amazon Web Services helped Quantcast migrate Kamke to the new instances in about a month, delivering 40% better price performance than comparable x86-based instances. Quantcast is now moving additional workloads, including its real-time bidding stack and custom load balancers, to Graviton2-based EC2 instances on Amazon Web Services.
