Phillips 66 Resolves Issues 30% Faster Using Observability Solution Built on AWS

Phillips 66, an energy company, needed better visibility across its application portfolio and struggled to diagnose issues quickly, especially in its LIMS quality-control application. Working with Amazon Web Services, the company used Amazon Managed Service for Prometheus and Amazon Managed Grafana to build an observability solution on AWS.

Amazon Web Services helped Phillips 66 launch the solution in about three months with support from AWS Professional Services. The new platform centralizes metrics, alerts, and dashboards across tools and environments, reducing mean time to resolve issues by 30% and helping teams detect, troubleshoot, and prevent outages faster, including more independent after-hours support from the Response Center.
