Orion Health Reduces Hospital Costs, Patient Stress Using Customer Engagement Solution Built on AWS

Orion Health turned to Amazon Web Services to improve internal knowledge access and support SLA performance. The company needed a faster way for employees to find information buried across product documentation and support history, and it chose Amazon Bedrock to build an internal generative AI chatbot called Oribot.

Amazon Web Services implemented Oribot on AWS to surface relevant answers, connect information across silos, and search more than 500,000 internal records in under a minute. The solution is expected to save Orion Health about 50 staff hours per day, improve resolution speed and accuracy, strengthen governance, and deliver Amazon Bedrock at roughly 10 times lower cost at scale than other chatbot platforms.
