NQ Mobile is a global provider of mobile Internet services and a leading SaaS security and app company with dual headquarters in Dallas and Beijing and hundreds of millions of users and thousands of enterprise customers. As the business expanded into international markets, its leased-server model became restrictive—deployments took 3–15 days, server rental and on-premises expansion were costly, and the company needed low-latency infrastructure worldwide.

NQ Mobile migrated to AWS, using Amazon EC2 and VPC for deployment, CloudFront for low-latency content delivery, RDS and S3 for data management and storage, and CloudWatch and IAM for monitoring and access control. The move cut deployment time from about two weeks to 45 minutes, reduced costs and upfront investment by roughly 20%, lowered maintenance workload, and improved time to market—allowing the company to focus on product development.
