MiQ Builds Cookieless Identity Graph Solution on AWS, Unifying 3–6 TB of Data Daily

MiQ needed a way to build and run its cookieless identity graph, MiQ Identity Spine, while processing huge weekly data joins across 3–6 TB of data and managing hundreds of millions of profiles. To support this demanding analytics workload, MiQ worked with Amazon Web Services, using services such as Amazon EMR, Amazon EC2, Databricks, and AWS Graviton processors.

Amazon Web Services helped MiQ optimize its data pipelines with faster Spark processing and more efficient compute infrastructure. The results were significant: processing time dropped by 66%, monthly pipeline costs fell by about 40%, and Databricks on AWS cut data processing costs and runtime by an additional 50%, reducing end-to-end processing from 3–4 hours to under 1 hour. MiQ also estimated savings of one year of analyst time annually.
