Lion Parcel Gains Faster Data Insights on AWS to Enhance Customer Experience

Lion Parcel, an Indonesian logistics company serving first-, middle-, and last-mile delivery across 17,000 islands, needed faster, more scalable data insights to improve reporting and customer experience. Its on-premises data setup was too slow, with a six-month delivery report taking about 15 minutes to load, limiting data-driven decision-making.

Amazon Web Services (AWS), working with Deloitte, helped Lion Parcel build a modern data pipeline using Amazon S3, AWS Glue, Amazon Redshift, Amazon QuickSight, and Amazon SageMaker. AWS enabled Lion Parcel to launch its data lake and warehouse in six weeks, cut key report times from 15 minutes to less than a minute, and gain near-real-time visibility for management, customer service, and ML-driven customer segmentation.
