Lion Enhances its Customer Beverage Ordering Experience with a Mobile App and Portal through SAP on AWS

Lion needed to move to RISE with SAP on AWS while eliminating legacy constraints and protecting critical SAP operations, including sensitive data and dozens of connected integrations. To support the migration, Lion worked with Amazon Web Services and used MSSR for RISE with SAP migrations on AWS, along with AWS Countdown Premium and AWS Enterprise Support for planning, troubleshooting, and go-live assistance.

Amazon Web Services helped Lion execute the 80-hour cutover with 24/7 monitoring, rapid issue resolution, and infrastructure tuning for Amazon EBS performance and latency issues. As a result, Lion migrated about 4 TB of data and preserved around 50 system integrations with no downtime or disruption, while also halving reporting time and creating a stronger foundation for AI innovation.
