Library For All Delivers Digital Learning Resources to Ukrainian Children to Ensure Access to Education Anywhere

Library For All, a nonprofit focused on improving access to education, needed a low-cost way to deliver culturally relevant digital learning resources to Ukrainian children during a crisis. As a first-time cloud user, it wanted to keep backend infrastructure expenses low while scaling delivery and maintaining reliable access to learning content.

Amazon Web Services helped Library For All build a serverless digital library app using services such as AWS Lambda, Amazon S3, Amazon CloudFront, Amazon RDS, AWS WAF, and AWS Control Tower. With Amazon Web Services and Cognizant support, Library For All cut deployment time by more than 20%, delivered resources in half the time, increased uptime from 95% to 99.9%, and improved scalability fivefold.
