LG Electronics Uses NICE DCV to Accelerate Product Design with Remote Access to CAE Tools

LG Electronics needed a way to let engineers work remotely with CAE tools and supercomputing systems without sacrificing performance or security. Working with Amazon Web Services and ISBC, LG Electronics adopted NICE DCV to support remote access to its on-premises data center and simplify technical application workflows.

Amazon Web Services helped LG Electronics implement NICE DCV and customize NICE EnginFrame, enabling secure remote 3D streaming, screen sharing, and centralized access control. The result was significant cost savings and better efficiency: GPU usage improved by 70–90% on Linux systems, more than 2,000 workstations now share the solution, and each GPU server supports 10–15 users at once. The setup also improved collaboration, productivity, and remote work flexibility while keeping data secure on premises.
