LexisNexis Builds AI-Powered Legal Brief Analysis Tool Using AWS

LexisNexis, a global legal information and analytics provider, needed a way to help lawyers and researchers spend less time manually searching massive volumes of case law and other documents when preparing legal briefs. Working with Amazon Web Services and using AWS Digital Innovation Program support, LexisNexis set out to build an AI-powered analysis tool as part of Lexis+.

Amazon Web Services helped LexisNexis build Brief Analysis on AWS using services including Amazon OpenSearch Service and Amazon Neptune. The tool analyzes uploaded briefs against more than 27 million legal documents in about 11 seconds, provides personalized recommendations, and has received 89% positive customer feedback. The solution saves time, strengthens arguments, and helps LexisNexis serve both large law firms and smaller firms more effectively.
