A Amazon Web Services Case Study

Preview of the Landbay Case Study

Landbay Uses AWS to Bring Tax-Free Interest to Investors

Landbay is a UK peer-to-peer lender focused on buy-to-let mortgages that needed to scale rapidly, handle surges in traffic from partners, and secure Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) authorization to be among the first platforms to offer the new Innovative Finance ISA (IFISA) in a competitive P2P market.

To meet those challenges Landbay migrated to AWS and rebuilt its platform as automated microservices using Amazon ECS, RDS and other AWS services, enabling fast deployments and high availability. The move delivered measurable results—99.89% uptime, deployments in under 10 minutes, new microservices online in 20 minutes, 80% savings on some server costs and quicker incident resolution—which helped the company gain FCA authorization and support rapid business growth.
