Kyndryl Invests in Early-Career Talent and Scales Cloud Skills Training with AWS Educate to Drive Business Growth

Kyndryl needed a faster way to build cloud-ready talent as it expanded its business in India. Working with Amazon Web Services, the company used AWS Educate to train early-career hires from 23 colleges, helping new cloud administrators and Terraform developers arrive with practical AWS knowledge instead of starting from zero.

Amazon Web Services implemented AWS Educate and related education programs to provide both theoretical and hands-on cloud training, with plans to extend this through AWS Academy and AWS Training and Certification. The results were significant: Kyndryl hired 480 trained graduates between June and July 2023, and onboarding time dropped from four to six weeks to just the first week, giving the company a faster path to productivity and a stronger competitive advantage.
