KTO.com, a Latin America betting platform, needed to improve performance, scale more efficiently, and personalize customer experiences as traffic volumes changed around major events. With Amazon Web Services, the company adopted AWS Lambda and Amazon EC2 Auto Scaling to replace a manual, IT-dependent scaling process, while also using Amazon CloudFront and Amazon Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka to support faster content delivery and real-time campaign personalization.

Amazon Web Services implemented a pre-scheduled scaling solution that lets non-technical staff trigger capacity changes in minutes instead of up to 2 hours. The platform now handles traffic spikes more smoothly, payout processing has dropped from 30–60 minutes to seconds, and marketing campaigns are based on near-real-time behavioral triggers, improving engagement and loyalty.
