Kellogg’s Europe, the regional arm of the global food company, relied on SAP BW, ECC, and SCM for supply chain, finance, logistics, and manufacturing across 3,000 employees. Working with Wipro, Kellogg’s migrated its SAP environment to AWS in a single weekend and now runs on Amazon EC2 X1 instances with Amazon S3 backups. The move delivered major performance gains—some logistics and finance reports run up to 60% faster, batch jobs improved as much as 90% (average 45%), downtime fell from weekly to monthly, and the IT team gained the scalability and agility to support faster acquisitions and the company’s growth objectives.
