A Amazon Web Services Case Study
Jumplife is a Taiwan-based e-commerce company behind Gamadian, an app-and-web virtual shopping mall selling trendy snacks from 26 countries. As user demand and marketing-driven traffic grew, Jumplife needed highly available, auto-scaling infrastructure that could deliver fast search and checkout, capture customer behavior data, and avoid the cost and limits of on‑premises systems.
Jumplife chose AWS and engaged APN Advanced Consulting Partner CKmates to implement a two‑tier architecture using Route 53, Elastic Load Balancing, EC2, S3/CloudFront, ElastiCache, and Amazon Aurora/RDS. The new platform handled marketing spikes of 5,000–6,000 concurrent users, delivered four to five times the performance of a standard RDS deployment, supported 150% business growth after a campaign, maintained low latency (~81 ms), and now enables frequent, scalable campaigns while work continues to optimize costs.
