Jobvite - Customer Case Study

Jobvite, a California-based SaaS recruiting provider, needed a faster, more reliable platform to support its applicant tracking, recruitment marketing, social recruiting, and video interviewing services. Its existing colocation and managed hosting setup was unstable, hard to scale, and increasingly unable to meet customer expectations for performance and availability. Jobvite turned to Amazon Web Services to move away from physical-server constraints and support its growth.

Using Amazon Web Services, Jobvite migrated its workloads to Amazon EC2, Amazon VPC, Auto Scaling, Elastic Load Balancing, Amazon RDS, Amazon S3, Amazon SES, Amazon SNS, and other AWS services. The result was more than 99.98% availability, server provisioning time cut from weeks to about five minutes, and a 35% reduction in operational expenses. Amazon Web Services also helped Jobvite meet key security and compliance requirements, enabling expansion into enterprise markets and supporting continued growth.
