InVision - Customer Case Study

InVision, a Germany-based workforce management (WFM) software company founded in 1995, serves contact centers worldwide with products including injixo (a cloud SaaS), traditional on-prem/cloud WFM, and e‑learning. Facing a large untapped segment of small contact centers (about 85% of the market) that couldn’t afford license and hosting costs, InVision needed a cloud-based, per-employee subscription model to reach these customers.

The company built injixo on Amazon Web Services—using EC2, Elastic Load Balancing, RDS and ElastiCache—because of AWS’s maturity, tooling and pricing. The move drove rapid cloud adoption (cloud revenue grew to roughly 75–85% of business), cut customer five-year TCO by about 90% (from €250,000 to ~€27,000 for a 50‑employee center), enabled 30–40 daily updates instead of annual patches, and allowed fast, low‑cost onboarding and scalable growth with the same staff.
