Hoya migrated its SAP Business Suite and disaster‑recovery environments to Amazon Web Services in about two months with support from AWS and consulting partner Qunie: two weeks to select services, a month to build environments in the Singapore region, and rapid testing and cutover that moved six live apps in under two days. The move delivered flexible, scalable infrastructure, initial cost savings of roughly 50–60% versus the prior private cloud, and an 80–90% reduction in capital expenditures over three years by converting maintenance to operating expense, while audited AWS security and support addressed the company’s compliance concerns.
