Hootsuite worked with Amazon Web Services to modernize its technology landscape and reduce the operational burden of running hundreds of production services. Using Amazon EKS, the company migrated nearly 100% of its production environment to Kubernetes to improve resiliency, efficiency, and security while supporting ongoing product innovation.

With Amazon Web Services, Hootsuite consolidated more than 2,000 Amazon EC2 instances to fewer than 500 and cut EC2 costs by about 40%. The move also reduced SEV1 and SEV2 incidents by 57% and lowered overall incidents by 28%, while giving development teams a more standardized environment and more time to focus on new projects.
