graylink Speeds Up Job Recruiting in Africa Using AWS

graylink, a South Africa-based SaaS recruiting software company, needed more flexible infrastructure to handle sudden surges in applicant traffic and improve performance for its Neptune product, which is used by large enterprises across Africa. The company was looking for a cloud platform that could support its Microsoft .NET applications and help replace its inflexible on-premises systems, and it chose Amazon Web Services over Microsoft Azure.

Amazon Web Services helped graylink migrate production systems to AWS using Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, Amazon Elasticsearch Service, and Auto Scaling. The new setup lets graylink scale up quickly for recruitment campaigns, then scale back down afterward, while improving search speed and reducing the need for capacity planning. According to graylink, page-loading times became three times faster than with Azure, and AWS also lowered costs, improved disaster recovery, and increased customer confidence in data security.
