Glossika Builds Language-Learning Platform on AWS to Serve Users in 148 Countries

Glossika, a language-learning platform based in Taiwan, needed a scalable way to deliver personalized lessons and manage rapid growth as its user base expanded to 148 countries. To support its adaptive learning model and growing content library, Glossika turned to Amazon Web Services, using services like Amazon RDS, Amazon S3, Amazon ElastiCache for Redis, Amazon EC2, Amazon CloudFront, and Elastic Load Balancing.

Amazon Web Services helped Glossika build a reliable, low-latency global platform that stores more than 350,000 sentences and translations, over 25 million audio recordings, and serves active paying users in 148 countries. With AWS infrastructure, Glossika improved uptime and scalability while continuing to expand its language offerings, including the Viva project for preserving endangered dialects.
